Crofton House Hotel - Torquay

A Productive Business Stay at Crofton House

The friendly staff greeted me with warm smiles, making me feel right at home. My room was comfortable and soundproof, allowing me to sleep peacefully despite the storm outside. The onsite sauna and steam room provided a great way to unwind after a long day of meetings. I enjoyed some relaxation time on the sun terrace and by the outdoor pool, which was perfect for soaking up the pleasant Torquay weather. Crofton House offers excellent value for its price, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Check-in was confusing and delayed.

The room was stunning and immaculate, the bad was exceptionally comfortable. Its location was central, close to Abbey Pitch and Putt.

The breakfast was plentiful and had plenty of meals.

The location was perfect for accessing the town, and we loved having quiet access to the pool and hot tub. The spacious rooms were a nice touch, although the cleanliness could be improved. I'd recommend this place.

Amazing and charming hotel located in a good area so close to Torquay, the main shopping area and marina and centre. Central location along with plentiful breakfasts. Double room even with windows wide open.

Noise from the rooms above is prominent. Every step is audible, hard to catch some Z's. The shower pressure is very powerful-perhaps too much for those with sensitive skin, leading to a bathroom floor soaked due to leaks. The indoor heated pool was disappointingly cold and the sauna and steam room were out of order, despite being advertised. The bathroom lacked sufficient shelves for toiletries, and there were noticeable stains on the walls and tiles that detracted from the overall aesthetic. A missing toilet brush and towel holders were minor annoyances in an otherwise functional bathroom.

Our stay was really great, thoroughly enjoyed lovely and great breakfasts.

We had a lovely romantic escape! The location was perfect for exploring the town center and enjoying the seafront. Our room was comfortable and clean, and we really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, especially Furdoon and Stuart. The communal areas were great for relaxing, and we also enjoyed some well-priced meals.

The indoor pool area could use some better cleanliness and maintenance. The check-in process felt a bit rushed, as we didn’t receive much info about hotel amenities. our room had an overwhelming air freshener smell, which was a bit distracting. a mixed experience but definitely some highlights!

We just had the most good stay! The breakfast was cooked to order and heavenly, especially the locally sourced bacon and sausages. Plus, the sea views from the terrace during breakfast were just fine! We thoroughly enjoyed lounging by the outdoor pool. Can't wait to return!
